My Story
Hi, My name is Eli I was born and raised in PEI I was sexually assaulted in a provincial group home in 2019 when I was 13 years old. If the assault wasn't hard enough on me the way it was handled to this day feels worse then the actual assault. From being laughed at by social workers to being blackmailed and made to feel worse about myself.

At the time of writing it is nearly 6 years since the incident was initially reported to group home staff who initially seemed to be trying to do the right thing but I later on found out that was not the case.
Six years of fighting Child and Family Services is why i'm opting to go public with my story and hopefully others will be willing to speak up too! No one should have to spend their entire teenage years fighting a broken system. Some people have spent their whole lives fighting this disgusting behaviour.
